Diploma in Responding to Trauma and Violence using Narrative Practices
Tina Chawla
Tina Chawla is a trauma-informed narrative practitioner drawing from Psychodynamic and Person-Centered approaches. Her work focuses on neurodivergence, interpersonal relationships, anxiety, trauma, and body image. She holds a psychology degree from the University of Delhi and an MSc in Counselling Studies from the University of Edinburgh, as well as a Diploma in Narrative Practices.
Tina supports clients in exploring their experiences around body image, neurodivergence, trauma, and family dynamics, viewing them through a socio-cultural lens. She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental, and warm space, often infused with humor and life. She considers it a privilege to engage with the rich stories clients share and to walk alongside them in their journeys.
Tina strongly believes in the power and wisdom vested in bodies and her practice is informed by that principle. When she’s not working, you can find her watching Brooklyn 99, making specific memes for her friends, and thinking about what food pairs well with a beverage.
