Diploma in Responding to Trauma and Violence using Narrative Practices
Structure of the Diploma
Training Explorations
The learning will be happening in-person in Delhi, India across 3 explorations over 11 months. Each exploration is 5 days with 8 hours on each day, starting March 2026.
Co-learning Circles
10 online co-learning circles (4 after the first two explorations, and 2 after the third) for 3 hours each facilitated by people and communities from diverse spaces.
Supervision
Peer support/Reading Groups
10 small group supervision gatherings online (4 after the first two explorations, and 2 after the third), for 3 hours each and facilitated by supervisors to scaffold learning and develop rigour in practical skills.
10 online sessions in small groups (4 after the first two explorations, and 2 after the third) for 2 hours with peers to read, watch, listen, reflect and engage with the resources shared through the diploma.

Exploration 1
Exploration 3

There will be two assignments (one individual and one group) through the course of the program. The details will be shared during the program.
Details (time and date) for the sessions on supervision, co-learning and peer support/ reading groups will be shared once accepted into the program.
Who Can Apply?
People who are curious about stories and want to explore more. It could be community health workers, activists, teachers, mental health workers, writers, social workers, poets, special educators, artists, photographers, counsellors, historians, psychologists, policy makers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, doctors, etc.
To complete the diploma participants will be expected to attend and participate in the training explorations, supervision and co-learning along with their assignments and the end of the year presentation sharing.
