Diploma in Responding to Trauma and Violence using Narrative Practices
Anita Prajapati
Anita Prajapati, Founding member of Samatha Psychosocial Care Pvt., Ltd. She holds dual Masters degree in Psychology and Sociology from Tribhuvan University.She is a Mental health Practitioner who believes in holding spaces and people are always responding. From young age, she was fascinated by the ways in which people’s context shape their experiences. These curiosities influence her to work with diverse age group and communities through non-profit organization and private practice.
She is a day dreamer and love the magic space of day dreaming. Day dreaming provides her aspiration to make possibilities in her life.
She has been in the field of mental health almost a decade through counseling, research and different mental health consultancy work. She is a teacher and supervisor of Narrative Practices diploma at Narrative Practices India Collective. She is a visiting School counselor at Niten Memorial School. She uses stitching and storytelling in therapeutic setting to nurture resilience and collecting well- being by honoring people’s lived experience.
